how to get there?
Go to Cebu South Bus Terminal (If you’re coming from Cebu City)
This is the main terminal in Cebu City where buses to southern Cebu depart.
Take a Ceres bus bound for Oslob / Bato
Look for signs saying “Oslob / Bato via Liloan” or simply ask the conductor for “Oslob whale sharks.”
Buses leave frequently throughout the day.
Get off in Oslob town proper
Tell the conductor you’re stopping at the Whale Shark Watching area (Tan-awan, Oslob).
The ride usually takes about 3.5–4 hours depending on traffic.
Walk or take a short tricycle ride
Once you arrive near the whale shark zone, it’s a short walk or tricycle ride to the registration area.
You’ll register, pay the fee, and then be escorted to the boats.
